Labor-Management Advisory Committee

Our mission is to support Board of Supervisors Countywide projects and to promote a family-friendly work environment that enhances employee productivity, workplace saving options, workplace giving options, rideshare options and volunteer opportunities through effective and caring program management and creative image enhancement strategies.

The County Labor-Management Advisory Committee on Productivity Enhancement (LMAC) was established in 1981 by the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors. LMAC’s mission is to provide recommendations to the Board of Supervisors, which promote an enhanced and productive work environment for County employees.

LMAC offers a forum for management and labor to share information on County operations and initiate County projects that improve overall effectiveness, efficiency and image of County government and the employees. LMAC members receive timely reports on the Employee Wellness Committee, County Air Quality/Rideshare, Charitable Giving and March of Dimes programs; Employee Suggestion Awards; and special Countywide projects such as the annual observance of Black History Month and Cesar E. Chavez Community Service Week.
